It wasn’t my fault, I simply didn’t know any better at the time. I didn’t realise that it was more productive to buy skills and invest in training that worked, rather than rely on hope and promises of the jackpot. This point took quite a while to sink in, but once it did my progress changed for the better almost immediately and the dreaded question seemed to stop being asked so often. I changed everything about how I approached my business. First thing to do was to purge my inbox of all the junk peddlers who had been taking my money and selling me stuff that never worked, so I unsubscribed from loads of lists and even this small step seemed to free up my mind to be able to concentrate on learning the good stuff. Next was to work on 1 proven strategy at a time, become an expert on it, then move onto the next task and not worry about how long it would take, because I was safe in the knowledge that the results were now coming and my business was progressing. Fast forward to where I am now and the picture looks totally different. My business is now run on strategy and choice, instead of desperation and frustration and the prospect of another email promising ‘that I can earn 1000′s overnight’ doesn’t even get opened, as I now know not to waste my money.
