I learned my lesson from my current mentor, who is the 1st to admit that he puts out stuff that often has mistakes, but the point is that his content is always good and useful to people and he doesn’t wait and agonise over it until it’s perfect, he just gets it out there and moves on to the next piece. There’s a load of people on the Internet who have all the knowledge and the skills, but they get stuck on the analysis, so end up achieving very little. So the message is……Get It Done, Get It Published! There will always be someone who knows less than you do, so there will always be something to talk about that can help others coming up behind you. Just make the most of however little you know and pass it on, then watch the positive response you will get. That’s the question my wife kept asking me after I had begun my work from home UK business. Initially nothing worked apart from how quickly my money was disappearing and how much my debts were rising. But, surprise surprise nothing worked and I was just wasting time going from 1 failed method to the next, but convincing myself that by being ‘busy’ would eventually pay off. It wasn’t my fault, I simply didn’t know any better at the time. I didn’t realise that it was more productive to buy skills and invest in training that worked, rather than rely on hope and promises of the jackpot. This point took quite a while to sink in, but once it did my progress changed for the better almost immediately and the dreaded question seemed to stop being asked so often. I changed everything about how I approached my business. First thing to do was to purge my inbox of all the junk peddlers who had been taking my money and selling me stuff that never worked, so I unsubscribed from loads of lists and even this small step seemed to free up my mind to be able to concentrate on learning the good stuff. Next was to work on 1 proven strategy at a time, become an expert on it, then move onto the next task and not worry about how long it would take, because I was safe in the knowledge that the results were now coming and my business was progressing. Fast forward to where I am now and the picture looks totally different. My business is now run on strategy and choice, instead of desperation and frustration and the prospect of another email promising ‘that I can earn 1000′s overnight’ doesn’t even get opened, as I now know not to waste my money. The secret to any work from home UK business is having the will, acquiring the skills, finding the strategy and having the psychology right.
