This short video is an advert to promote a 3000 mile bike race across America, although to class it as a race doesn’t really describe what it is all about. These guys are not so much racing, more like competing against themselves both mentally and physically and as you can imagine a load don’t make it.

Although this is a much more extreme situation, the same principles can be applied when you start trying to become successful online.

Much of it is down to mental toughness. Do you have the desire to succeed?

It all seems really easy when you 1st set out. You buy into the opportunity, you buy into what the sales page tells you, you download the product, start the training, implement the strategy and wait for the money to start rolling in.

It doesn’t always happen at once, but that’s OK, because you’re sure if you keep doing what the system tells you, it will happen eventually. As the weeks go by and the results don’t appear, then the little voice in your head starts to question your decisions.

‘What have I bought into? Is it going to work? Have I wasted my money?’

This is when it gets tough and a lot of people quit, in fact the majority fail to conquer the initial up hill struggle of an online marketing business. This is where you find out what you’re made of. Are you the type of person who can endure the ‘3000 mile race for life’, like some of the endurance riders in the film?

Most of the top guys in Network Marketing can be classed as ‘endurance athletes’.

A lot of them have stories of gaining success from difficult beginnings, but that didn’t stop them pushing on regardless to achieve their goals and not stopping once they get there. They have developed a no surrender mindset that sees them through every task. If it doesn’t work that doesn’t phase them, they just get their head down and find another way.

These are the type of guys to learn from and copy, because they have got there for a reason, so when you start to question how badly you want it, think of the ‘endurance riders’ and what they would do?
