5 Blog Post Writing Help Tips

Blog post writing help seems to be an area many newbies are looking for advice on. This task doesn't have to be as daunting as a lot of people think and if you follow these 5 blog post writing help tips, you should feel more confident about tackling the process.

For a lot of people writing doesn't come naturally, but blog posts are a crucial part of your marketing, so you need to get over any hangups you have about it and make it part of your regular schedule.

Don't make these your excuses to sit there and do nothing;

- I find writing difficult, because it takes so long.

- I can never think about anything to write about.

- I don't have enough knowledge yet.

- I don't enjoy doing articles.

What To Write About?

Google the niche you're in or one related to your topic and find out what other people are writing about. Pick an area that you understand and write your own spin on it. You could do a review article about a product, state your opinion about a topic, write about your experiences or something you have learned that others could benefit from. Check out the article directories for inspiration and these will also give you the hot topic areas that are most popular.

Putting It Together.

Once you have your research, the next thing is to do the title. Base this around your keyword and make sure the keyword appears as close to the beginning as possible, as the search engines generally cut off any words shown after 60 characters.

Before you write the body, put some bullet points down that will form the structure of your article. That will keep you focused just on the topic and remind you of what you want to say.

Plan to write between 400 and 500 words, as that is usually what the article directories like if you plan to publish there and anything much longer will tempt readers to skip bits. However, remember to make sure each part adds value, so try not to pad the article out just to make up the length.

Mention the keyword about 3 times throughout the article, then Google will recognise the niche you're promoting and rank it accordingly. Ideally put the key phrase twice in the 1st paragraph and again in the resource box at the end.

Be Yourself.

Find your own style, as it's your personal branding that you are trying to promote. Visitors will only buy from you once they trust you as a brand or leader, so put your slant on your writing. As long as it comes across as sounding sincere and honest don't worry about it being too professional, just make sure you deliver the information that searchers are looking for. The more you open up about yourself, the more most people will appreciate it as having a human touch to it.

Make Yourself Understood.

Everyone needs to be able to understand your post, so don't try and reproduce material that you don't understand, because it might come across that way to the reader and then you have blown any trust you may have built up. Explain things in a way that makes sense to you and then most likely the reader will get it to.

Check It Over.

Read through your article slowly before you publish it, check for spellings and grammar. If anything sounds odd, now is the time to alter it, but
don't spend too long, as you will need to regularly post blogs, so the important thing is to get it published and start generating traffic from it.

Now it's up to you, start taking action with this blog post writing help and get your articles published.
