Use the events tab on Facebook

Create an event you can invite your fans to. This could be a live training session on something that could help people with their online business or it could be a Q & A session. If you’re worried about the “live” element, you could prepare it beforehand and present it as a powerpoint presentation. Just make sure the subject matter is of value to your audience and the result will be your following starting to grow.

There are quite a few good webinar platforms that you could use, which are all fairly simple to operate and allow interaction between the presenter and guests.

Offer help to others

Don’t just focus on your personal brand building. Look through the comments and articles on other people’s pages and see if there is any help you can give to any questions that have been posted. Leave your advice as a comment on their wall, then this gets linked back to your page and helps your page to grow virally.

People will appreciate the effort and the fact you have given your advice for nothing in return, so this will make them more inclined to trust you and to check out your fan page or blog.

Recommend other people’s work

Follow successful people, not necessarily the very famous, as everyone does that, but the ones always delivering good content. You can then “like” or ”retweet” their articles and this will get your name noticed as someone who associates with the guys who know what they are talking about.

If you can start interacting with these people, then others will start paying attention to your content, which in turn will bring you fresh leads into your business.
