If you aren’t secure in your current situation and you’re not sure if your job will still be around this time next year, or you realise you just don’t have enough put away for your retirement, then you need to start looking into some second income ideas.

Unless you have a rock solid plan B in place, now is the time to begin to secure your financial future. The trouble is that when you start to search you often get bombarded with second income ideas that all promise to turn your life around, so which one do you pick?

I can speak from experience when I say that I’ve tried and failed with quite a few supposedly dead cert business opportunities. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to keep up the momentum needed to constantly approach new people and call prospects on the phone all day, in the hope that I could build up a huge downline that would start to give me residual income. This was my checklist when it came to researching second income ideas.

• No cold calling, no calling friends and family, no party plans.
• Does it pay out 100% commissions?
• Does the company publish all it’s affiliates earning’s as proof of how they are doing?
• Does it operate successfully all around the world?
• Does it offer a simple, easy to follow marketing plan?
• Does it a have a community of like minded entrepreneurs all willing to help each other?
• Does the training teach you strategies that only the top marketers normally get to hear about?

 

As I mentioned before, the first few companies that I invested in didn’t offer all these points, but I’m happy to say that my current business ticks all the boxes. It’s based on a blogging system, where I get to write about topics that interest me and on the back of that, visitors are attracted to my posts, then they click on the ready made enticing ads placed around the article and any sign ups earn me 100% commission from the product sale.
