A successful lead generation program can be based around just 1 written piece of content. If you use the content in a mixture of different ways, it can produce backlinks from a number of sources to help you rank higher for your chosen keyword. By using this method you can establish a winning lead generation program that should bring fresh prospects to your business.

1- Write about 400-500 words of content (some article directories only accept this length as a minimum), with your keyphrase mentioned a couple of times in the 1st paragraph, then a few times more throughout the article, but don’t over mention as this will be viewed as spammy by the search engines.

Finish your article with a paragraph containing a call to action and include a hyperlink to your product or opportunity.

2- Publish the article onto your blog, then make a note of the URL of the article itself, not just the page it’s on, by clicking on the article and copying the link in your browser to notepad.

4- The re-written article can then be made into a video, which can be distributed to sites like Youtube, Viddler and a few others like these. It doesn’t need to be long, between 2 and 4 minutes is fine, much longer and viewers will turn off, so just get across the relevant points.

Mention your keyphrase in the description and then click on the video to get the URL that appears in the browser and copy that with the rest of them.

5- All the URL’s can then be put through a social bookmarking service, that will then list the content URL’s onto dozens of other sites, then finally, use a pinging service and list all your URL’s here as well and this will inform the search engines that you have fresh content, giving you increased rankings for your chosen keyphrases.
